The Adax HDC3-AMC signaling controller and Kontron AM4010 Processor on the Kontron OM5080 carrier-grade platform benchmarked against server platforms revealed:

  • Low CPU utilization enabling applications to run alongside
  • This AMC system offers comparable performance levels to server platforms
  • Signaling links easily maintained at full Erlang
