Size Doesn’t Matter - Server Performance on AMC Form Factor
Benchmarks of server platforms against processors on AMC cards within the telecommunication and technology industries demonstrate how well the small form factor is adapted to high performance in compact carrier-grade systems such as signaling nodes.
The Adax HDC3-AMC signaling controller and Kontron AM4010 Processor on the Kontron OM5080 carrier-grade platform benchmarked against server platforms revealed:
- Low CPU utilization enabling applications to run alongside
- This AMC system offers comparable performance levels to server platforms
- Signaling links easily maintained at full Erlang
Read this report to gain further insight into how the Adax/Kontron ATCA products offer a higher performing, more scalable solution ideal for carrier-grade signaling nodes.
